BAKED STUFFED CLAMS 3 Tbsp. olive oil 1 to 2 cloves chopped garlic 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper 2 to 3 Tbsp. fresh, finely chopped parsley 18 small littleneck clams opened on the 1/2 shell 2/3 c. fine bread crumbs 1/4 tsp. paprika 3 slices cut up bacon 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/4 tsp. ground thyme 1 big pinch cayenne pepper Combine olive oil, bacon and onion in a 1 quart glass casserole. Microwave, uncovered, on Cook for 4 to 6 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Add remaining ingredients, except clams. Arrange clams around the edge of a 10-inch glass pizza dish. Pierce each clam several times with a toothpick. Top clams with crumb mixture. Microwave, uncovered, on Cook for 5 1/2 to 7 minutes.
