QUICK CHILI-RICE DINNER|
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. diced green pepper
1 pkg. (10 oz.) sweet whole
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 c. Minute rice
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Break beef into chunks. Place in 2 quart nonmetal
baking dish and add onion. Cook at High power for 4 minutes.
Drain off fat; break up beef with fork. Stir in spices, corn,
green pepper and tomato sauce. Cover and cook for 4 minutes.
Stir in rice. Cover and cook 4 minutes longer. Sprinkle with
cheese and cook, uncovered, for 1 minute.
