1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 1/4 c. soft fresh bread
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. finely chopped green
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in medium mixing bowl; blend
thoroughly. Spread mixture evenly in a glass loaf dish; cover
with wax paper. Microwave at power level Cook for 18 to 22 1/2
minutes or until center is no longer pink, rotating the dish
1/2 turn after 10 minutes cooking time. Let stand, covered, 5
minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
