BACON WRAPPED MINI MEAT LOAVES

1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 slices bacon
1 lb. ground beef
1 slice bread
1 egg
2 Tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. bouquet sauce

In a small bowl, combine green pepper and onion. Cover
loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at High 1 to 1 1/2
minutes or until tender, crisp. Set aside. Place bacon on
double thickness of paper towels. Cover with a paper towel,
microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes. In a medium mixing bowl,
combine remaining ingredients; mix well; divide into 2 equal
parts, shaping each into a 6 x 3 1/2-inch lettuce leaf, then
wrap 2 slices of bacon around each loaf and secure with a
wooden pick. Place loaves on a roasting rack; cover with waxed
paper and microwave at High 7 to 11 minutes, turning the loaves
every 2 minutes. Let stand covered, 3 minutes or until firm.
Serves 4.
