FUDGE

4 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet
chocolate pieces
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow
cream
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Butter a 9-inch square baking dish for thick fudge; set
aside. In a 4-quart bowl, combine sugar, milk and butter.
Stirring every 2 minutes, microwave on High 18 to 20 minutes or
until mixture reaches 234 degrees to 240 degrees or forms a soft ball when
dropped in cold water. Do not put candy thermometer in micro-
wave oven. Stir in chocolate and marshmallow cream until
blended. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour into buttered dish
and cool. Cut into squares.
