1/2 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. coarsely diced cooked
1 can (7 1/2 oz.) taco
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
10 to 12 fully cooked taco
grated Cheddar cheese
chopped fresh tomatoes
Cook onion and butter in a 1-quart measure on Saute for
about 3 minutes. Add chicken, taco sauce, salt and garlic
salt. Cover with a paper towel. Cook on High for about 5
minutes or until mixture thickens and is hot. Spoon hot
filling into taco shells. Serve immediately with side dishes
filled with cheese, lettuce and tomato to sprinkle over hot
filling. Makes 6 servings.
