OYSTER STEW

Total cooking time: 19 minutes.

4 c. milk
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash bottled hot pepper sauce
1 pt. shucked oysters,
undrained
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Heat milk in 4 cup glass measure at High for 6 minutes
or until hot; set aside. In 3 quart casserole, blend flour,
salt, water, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Add
undrained oysters and butter. Cook at Medium for 7 to 8
minutes or until edges of oysters curl, stirring occasionally.
Add hot milk. Cover and let stand 15 minutes. Heat at High
for 6 to 7 minutes or until hot. Top servings with additional
butter. Pass oyster crackers. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
