FILET AU JUS

4 (1-inch thick) beef
tenderloin steaks
(approximately 1/4 lb.
each)
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 slices bacon
browning sauce (such as
Worcestershire sauce)

Rub steaks with pepper. Wrap bacon around steaks and
secure bacon with wooden toothpicks. Arrange steaks in 12 x
8-inch dish. Brush with browning sauce. Cook at Medium 6 to 7
minutes, turning steaks over halfway through cooking. Let
stand, covered, 2 to 4 minutes before serving.
Cooking time given is for rare beef. For medium, cook 8
to 9 minutes and for well, cook 10 to 11 minutes.
For microwave cooking.
