APPLE CRISP

5 c. sliced apples
3/4 c. quick-cooking rolled
oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter or margarine

Place apple slices in 2-quart utility dish. Combine
oats, flour, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Cut in butter
until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apple slices.
Bake 15 minutes, turning dish quarter turns every 2 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
