2 oz. German sweet chocolate
or 1/4 c. milk chocolate
6 caramels
18 pecan halves

Place chocolate in custard cup and heat in microwave for
2 minutes for the German chocolate broken in pieces. Cook
about 45 seconds for the milk chocolate chips.
Butter a 9-inch pie plate and add caramels, evenly
spaced in a circle. Heat in microwave about 30 seconds.
(Caramels should be soft.) Press 3 pecan halves into each
softened caramel. Put about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate
over the pecan. Chill and refrigerate about 20 minutes before
