WHOLE WHEAT BEER BREAD
(Microwave)
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. butter or margarine,
melted
1 (12 oz.) can beer, room
temperature
wheat germ or cornflake crumbs

Combine flours and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add
melted butter and beer. Stir until well-blended. Grease 5-cup
plastic or ceramic tube dish. Coat with wheat germ. Spoon or
pour batter into tube dish. Sprinkle wheat germ over top.
Cook on Cook Level 7 for 9 1/2 to 12 1/2 minutes or until top
springs back when lightly pressed with finger. Turn quarter- 
turn halfway through cooking time. Turn out onto cooling rack.
Yields 1 loaf.
