APPLE YOGURT COFFEE CAKE|
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) carton apple yogurt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. chopped apples
For Topping: Combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon
in small bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in nuts.
For Cake: Combine flours, brown sugar, baking powder
and cinnamon in large mixing bowl. Mix well. Add yogurt, oil
and egg. Mix until well blended. Stir in apples. Pour batter
into greased 9 x 2-inch round dish. Cook on Cook Level 7 for 9
to 11 1/2 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes
out clean. Turn quarter turn and sprinkle topping evenly over
batter halfway through cooking time.
