1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. ground oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 lb. uncooked spaghetti,
broken in half
grated Parmesan cheese
Place ground beef and onion in 2-quart casserole. Cook,
covered, on Full Power for 4 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until beef is
no longer pink and onion is tender. Stir halfway through
cooking time. Drain. Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, water,
oregano and spaghetti. Cook, covered, on Full Power for 6 to
8 minutes, or until boiling. Continue cooking on Cook Level 4
for 15 to 17 minutes, or until spaghetti is tender. Stir twice
during cooking time. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, as de-
sired. Serves 6.
