cubed steak (6 to 8 pieces), rolled in flour salt and pepper to taste 3 Tbsp. oil 2 Tbsp. flour 2 c. water Place floured steak in pan of oil and brown on each side. Set steak aside after browning. Add flour to grease drippings, stir well and add salt and pepper to taste. Add two cups water to flour mixture. Place browned steak back in gravy. Add water until steak covered. Continue cooking on low to medium heat for three to four hours. (You can also place this in your crock-pot by putting on low in the morning and cooking all day).
