MEXICAN CORN BREAD

1 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream style corn
1 c. shredded cheese
2 pods hot pepper, chopped or Tbsp. dried pepper
1 egg
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. self-rising corn meal
1/2 c. cooking oil

Put the hamburger and onion in a large pan and brown together. In a
large bowl, mix the corn, cheese, hot pepper, egg, buttermilk, corn
meal and cooking oil. Add the first two ingredients; mix all
together. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
