HERSHEY BAR POUND CAKE

1 c. butter or margarine (2 sticks)
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (5 1/2 oz.) can Hershey's syrup
2 1/2 c. cake flour or sifted plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
6 to 7 plain Hershey bars, melted
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour tube or loaf pan. Cream the
butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Combine all
dry ingredients and alternate with buttermilk, then add syrup, bars,
vanilla and pecans. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Chocolate Cake Syrup:
3 to 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
3 c. sugar
4 tsp. soda
1 3/4 c. milk

Cook 5 to 7 minutes.
