3 c. sugar 2 sticks margarine (room temperature) 1/2 c. Crisco 5 eggs (room temperature) 3 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon flavoring 1 c. 7-Up Do not use electric mixer. Cream sugar, margarine and Crisco. Add eggs (well beaten) and stir until well blended. Add flour. Stir. Add flavorings. Stir. Add 7-Up a little at a time. Stir until well blended. Bake in greased and floured tube pan one hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
