3/4 stick butter (or substitute)
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. sugar (or substitute)
1/2 c. milk
3 c. blackberries (substitute peaches or apples)
3/4 c. sugar (or substitute)
Melt butter in a Pyrex casserole dish. Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar and
milk. Pour on top of butter but do not stir. Mix fruit with 3/4 cup
sugar. Pour on top of the batter. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
