3 c. hot mashed potatoes 1 c. sour cream 1/4 c. milk 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/3 c. fried onions 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except fried onions and cheese. Spoon half the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish and top with 2/3 cup onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining potato mixture. Bake 30 minutes or until hot. Top with remaining onions and cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until onions are golden. Tip: Use leftover or prepared instant potatoes for quick potato bake. Serves 6 to 8.
