2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 1 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 tsp. cumin 3 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. oregano 3 (15 oz.) cans Bush Best Black beans black pepper salsa shredded cheese sour cream fresh herb (such as basil) Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook 5 minutes. Stir in garlic, cumin, chili powder and oregano. Puree 1 can of black beans and add to pot. Add second can (do not puree). Drain last can of beans and add to pot (do not puree). Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often. Add black pepper to taste. Top with your choice of salsa, shredded cheese, sour cream and fresh herb. Enjoy. Yields 6 (I would say 4!).
