any kind of bread
1 lb. pork sausage meat or links (bacon may be substituted)
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
Tear bread into pieces and place in a buttered 9 x 13-inch
casserole. Brown and drain meat. Drain off fat. Spoon meat over
bread and sprinkle with cheese.
Beat eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over
bread mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. The cheese will
rise to the top.
Prepare this the night before.
