apples, peel and cut enough to fill 9-inch pie plate 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. melted margarine 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1 c. flour 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Mix 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Combine melted margarine, 3/4 cup sugar and egg. Stir in flour and chopped walnuts. Fill pie plate 2/3 full with apples. Over the apples, sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture. In a bowl, combine the sugar and melted butter. Add beaten egg. Stir in flour and nuts. Pour mixture over apples and quickly spread it around to cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
