2 c. egg whites 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. cocoa 1 tsp. cream of tartar 3/4 c. cake flour 1 tsp. vanilla Sift flour, cocoa and salt. Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until stiff. Add vanilla, then sugar gradually and fold into flour mixture. Put in ungreased tube pan and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
