1 can pie filling (cherry or your choice)
20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
18 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped

Grease a 13 x 9-inch, spread pie filling on bottom and
sprinkle cake mix over it. Spoon the pineapple over the cake mix.
Drizzle with melted butter. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake
at 325 degrees for about 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped
topping. Also may serve plain with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Yields 12 servings.
