15 red peppers
15 green peppers
1 qt. onions, chopped
2 qts. vinegar
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
3 lbs. sugar
Grind peppers, onions, and cabbage. Soak overnight in salt water.
Strain and boil a few minutes in clear water. Drain well. Add
vinegar, mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, and sugar and boil
for 1 hour. Put in jars and seal.
