5 1/2 c. (1 doz.) green peppers, chopped 5 1/2 c. (1 doz.) sweet red peppers, chopped 2 c. white onions, chopped 1 pt. vinegar 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 Tbsp. salt boiling water, enough to cover peppers and onions Combine peppers and onions and cover with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes; drain. Combine vinegar, sugar and salt; add peppers and onions mixture. Bring to a boil and boil gently 5 minutes. Pour immediately into hot jars. Seal at once.
