9 oz. pkg. frozen sugar snap peas 16 oz. pkg. orzo, cooked and drained 1 c. water chestnuts, drained and chopped 3 c. chicken, cooked and diced 3 green onions, chopped 1 medium red bell pepper, diced Cook peas according to directions on package; drain well. In large bowl combine peas, orzo, water chestnuts, chicken, green onion, and pepper. Dressing 1/2 c. vegetable oil 3 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. hoisin sauce 1-2 oz. pkg. slivered almonds, toasted (1/2 c.) In a small bowl whisk all ingredients except almonds. Pour over orzo mixture, tossing gently to coat. Stir in toasted almonds. Cover and chill until ready to serve. This makes a large amount. Can also be made without chicken.
