1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, browned and drained 1 large onion, chopped 1 large green pepper, chopped 1 qt. tomatoes 1 small can tomato paste 2 Tbsp. sugar salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste 1 16-oz. box macaroni cheese to sprinkle on top Simmer all ingredients except macaroni and cheese for 20-40 minutes in a pot. Cook macaroni per instructions on box; drain. Mix macaroni with sauce. Put in a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese; bake until cheese melts.
