choice of steak, preferably ribeye
garlic salt or substitute
wood chips of choice, apple or hickory
Marinate steaks in Dales Marinade, 50% Dales, 50% water for 1-2
hours; drain. Pat steaks dry and lightly cover with garlic salt
and Cavenders. Soak wood chips 1-2 hours; drain chips and place on
top of red hot coals. Wrap chips in aluminum foil if using a gas
grill. Cook steaks to desired choice, rare, medium rare, medium,
or well done. Once steaks are on grill, close the top and set
vents so the meat will benefit from the smoke.
