1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
1 c. green pepper, diced
1 c. onion, diced
2 c. canned tomatoes
2 c. uncooked shell macaroni
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. buttermilk
Combine cooked sausage (I use mild) with all other ingredients in a
covered Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 1/2 hour or
until macaroni is tender.
