8 boneless pork chops
enough oil to brown chops
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
4 tart apples, sliced
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. hot water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. raisins
Brown pork chops in small amount of oil. Sprinkle with salt and
sage. Place in baking dish and top with apple slices. Sprinkle
with brown sugar. Add flour to oil in skillet and blend. Add
water and vinegar and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add
raisins and pour over chops. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
