1 small cabbage
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 Tbsp. grated American cheese
Shred cabbage; cook until tender. Drain in colander. Make white
sauce by cooking remaining ingredients, except cheese, until
consistency of thick cream. Add grated cheese and heat. Place
cabbage in hot dish and pour sauce over cabbage.
