5-6 medium sweet potatoes (enough to fill your dish) cinnamon 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 Tbsp. corn starch 1 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla raisins and/or coconut (opt.) Boil sweet potatoes. Remove skins, slice, place in baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon over sweet potatoes. Boil remaining ingredients until sugar dissolves. Pour syrup over potatoes. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Raisins and/or coconut make a delicious addition.
