1 stick margarine
32 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes (cubes, not shredded)
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz. sour cream
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Melt margarine in 9 x 13 pan. Spread frozen
potatoes evenly over the bottom of the baking dish. Mix salt,
onion, soup, sour cream, and 1 c. cheese. Cover top of potatoes
completely with this mixture. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour.
Uncover and top with remaining 1 c. cheese. Bake uncovered an
additional 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
