1 stick butter salt and pepper to taste 16-oz box macaroni 4 c. shredded cheese 3 c. milk Melt butter in 13 x 9 casserole dish. Add salt and pepper (I use a teaspoon of each). Pour the DRY macaroni into the butter and stir until it's all covered with butter. Spread evenly in the bottom of the casserole dish and put cheese on top. DO NOT STIR! Gently add milk. DO NOT STIR! Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Once top starts to brown, it is ready. I turn the oven off and let it set for a few minutes, then take it out and let it set for 15-20 minutes before serving. Very, very easy.
