1 stick butter 1 medium onion 1 1/2 stalks celery 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 medium apple 1/2 c. raisins 1 loaf stale white bread crumbs 1 c. hot water Chop onion and sauté in chunk of butter in a spaghetti pot. Gradually add thinly sliced celery, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Continue to add butter chunks as needed; cook until softened. Peel and chop apple; add to mixture, along with raisins and remaining butter. Temporarily put mixture in 2 cup measuring cup. Put bread chunks in pot; add mixture and hot water. Mix with hands and stuff into cleaned turkey immediately before roasting.
