4 c. bread crumbs 1/3 c. butter or margarine 1/4 c. onion, chopped 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1 tsp. dried sage 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper poultry seasoning to taste water or broth to moisten Prepare bread crumbs. Melt butter; add onion and cook until yellow. Stir in celery and some bread crumbs. Put in bowl and add rest of crumbs and seasonings. Add water or broth if needed. Mix well. Can be used to stuff a chicken or turkey. Can also be baked in oven in greased pan.
