1 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 3 Tbsp. sugar 1 c. All Bran Original 1 c. all-purpose flour, measured and sifted 1/3 c. shortening 1 c. warm water (warm enough to feel hot but won't burn) 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 Tbsp. yeast Heat milk, salt, 3 Tbsp. sugar, and All Bran Original in a pan until lukewarm. Work the shortening into the flour. Put in a measuring cup 1 cup warm water, add 1 Tbsp. sugar and yeast. Let the yeast set until it dissolves. Add liquids to flour and shortening. Stir until well mixed. If mixture can't be handled with hands easily, add more flour; if too stiff, add water. Pour out on floured board and work with hands until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk. Work down with hands and make into rolls or roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Place in well-greased pan. Let rise 1 hour and bake at 400 for 15 minutes. Butter, eat, and enjoy.
