3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 sticks butter @ room temperature
5 eggs @ room temperature
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring
Preheat oven to 325. Mix sugar, Crisco, and butter until creamed,
3-5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each
addition. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk,
ending with flour mixture. Add flavorings and mix to combine.
Pour into cake mold of choice. Makes 8 cups of batter. Cook 60-70
minutes or until cake tester comes out dry.
