3 c. self-rising flour 1 1/4 c. oil 2 c. sugar 3 eggs 3 c. diced, fresh apples 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped 1 tsp. vanilla 1 Tbsp. cinnamon Mix all ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 425 for 35-45 minutes. Icing 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. canned milk 2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Mix butter, canned milk, and brown sugar in pan; heat and boil until just thickening. Let cool. Add vanilla.
