2 c. sugar 2 c. plain flour 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 16 oz. can crushed pineapple Mix all ingredients in bowl. Mix and blend with a spoon. Pour into 13 x 9 pan and bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Topping 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. evaporated milk 1 c. coconut 1 c. nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Mix butter, sugar, and milk in a sauce pan. Cook until a little thick, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Pour over hot cake.
