1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 qt. canned fruit and juice, sweetened
Combine all ingredients except fruit to make batter. Pour into a
baking dish. Add canned fruit and juice. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
1 qt. sweetened fresh fruit may be used instead of canned.
Peaches, blackberries, etc., can be used.
