BUTTERMILK PIE

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. plain flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 unbaked 9" deep dish pie crust

Preheat oven to 350. Mix butter, sugar, flour, eggs, buttermilk,
vanilla, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl; whisk until smooth.
Pour mixture into pie crust. Bake 45-50 minutes until golden.
Cool completely and then cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until
served.
