4 large Granny Smith apples 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. flour 1/3 c. butter 1 pie shell Cut apples into 8ths. Place in pie shell. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. sugar mixed with cinnamon. Sift remaining 1/2 c. sugar with flour. Chop in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 30 minutes.
