1 1/2 c. sugar 4 Tbsp. cornstarch 1/3 c. water 1 small strawberry Jello 1 qt. strawberries 2 baked pie shells Cool Whip or whipped cream Thoroughly mix sugar and cornstarch in 2 qt. saucepan. Add water and cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture becomes thick and clear. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then add dry Jello mix. Mix thoroughly. Wash and cap strawberries; slice into baked pie shells. Pour cooled mixture over strawberries. Chill until firm. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
