1 1/2 c. brown sugar 5 Tbsp. self-rising flour 2 c. milk 2 egg yolks, beaten 1/2 stick butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 box raisins, chopped or boiled 3 minutes and drained 1 baked pie crust 2 egg whites 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/3 c. sugar Combine all ingredients except raisins. Cook over medium head until mixture thickens. Add raisins. Pour into baked pie crust. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add cream of tartar, beat well. Add 1/3 c. sugar; beat a little more.
