Custard 2 c. milk 2 egg yolks, beaten 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring 2 Tbsp. cornstarch, beaten in 1/2 c. cold water 1 baked pie crust Bring milk, eggs, sugar, and flavoring to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture. Cook until thickened. Pour into baked pie crust. Note: This custard is a basic recipe which can become a variety of flavored pies, such as coconut, pineapple, chocolate, etc. Meringue 2 egg whites sugar to taste vanilla to taste Beat eggs white until stiff peaks are formed. Add sugar and beat. Add vanilla and beat again. Pour meringue over pie filling. Bake until meringue is golden brown.
