tea bags - follow directions to make one gallon water 1 3/4 c. sugar or Splenda to equal 1 3/4 c. sugar Fill a saucepan 2/3 full of water. Cover and bring to a boil. Drop in tea bags, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let stand covered for 1 hour. Pour sugar (or sweetener) into gallon pitcher, add tea and stir well. Fill pitcher with water until it reaches one gallon. Stir well. Place in refrigerator overnight. Stir well before serving.
