3 ripe avocados 1/4 c. minced onion 1 1/2 Tbsp. lime juice 1 large tomato, diced 1/4 c. cilantro, chopped 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. minced jalapeno (optional) Add diced onion to a small bowl; cover with warm water and set aside. Cut avocados in half lengthwise; use a spoon to scoop out the seed. Scoop out the flesh and add to a bowl. Add lime juice and then use a fork to gently mash until creamy, but still chunky. Stir in the tomato, cilantro, cumin, onion, salt and minced pepper. Taste the guacamole and add any additional salt, peppers or juices.
