5 green sweet peppers 5 red sweet peppers 2 large green tomatoes 2 large onions 1/2 small cabbage 1/4 c. kosher salt chopped jalapeno to taste (optional) 3 c. sugar 2 c. white vinegar (5%) 1 c. water 1 Tbsp. mustard seeds 1 1/2 tsp. celery seeds 3/4 tsp. turmeric Chop all vegetables fine. Sprinkle in salt. Cover and chill 8 hours. Rinse and drain. Bring other ingredients to boiling. Simmer with vegetables 3 minutes. Can in pints and 1/2 pints. Water bath 15 minutes.
